The psychological cost of the war between Russia and Ukraine

On May 3, 4, 5 and 6, 2022, Melinda Endrefy, AMURTEL’s emergency psychologist, and Dr. Ismael Eduardo Pérez García, Ph.D. in Legal and Forensic Psychology, and researcher at the Legal and Forensic Psychology Unit at the University of Santiago de Compostela., conducted in-depth assessments of twenty Ukrainian people that had been displaced by the war for at least one month with the aim of identifying primary psychological damage or symptoms of PTSD. Food for All Annual Report 2021

In 2021, FFA broadened the scope of its program, responding to anyone seeking assistance, and not just those who are elderly or home-bound. Given the pressures of the pandemic, we wanted to ensure that food was one less thing for people to worry about, freeing up their scant resources for other pressing expenses.We were especially happy to support the newly unemployed and those forced into quarantine. Haiti Earthquake August 2021

Officials in Haiti have confirmed at least 1,297 people are dead after a powerful 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Caribbean nation on Saturday. Rescuers are picking through rubble in a desperate search for any survivors. The southwest of Haiti appears to have suffered the worst of the damage, especially around the city of Les Cayes.

India Pandemic and Cyclone response
