Hi everyone-
It’s hard to believe our 29th Annual International Boutique is upon us!
This may well be our best year ever—Patty and I kind of went wild in the shopping department with a special trip to Jaipur, India to get the beautiful block-print table clothes, placemat and napkin sets and bedspreads you have been asking for. And along with that, great Jaipur carpets and clothes. And something happened in Thailand—perhaps because we could only shop for one day last year due to the flooding—but this year we ended up with more than 3x the amount of new things—some really beautiful bamboo and lacquered bowls, really funky jewelry, great sweaters, and more. And the same thing happened in Nepal—I was tired of the same things we have been selling and found myself exploring the back alleys of Katmandu for new and unusual crafts, carpets and clothing. We hope you like our choices. (Check them out in a few days online.)

This is an important year for the Boutique—as things change in the world, the need for our field work and projects is increasing and the need to support these programs, here and abroad, presses upon us. The sale is a way for us to raise funds, bring beautiful items to you in time for the holiday season, and connect with old friends and new. If you want to be a part of the sale, (along with shopping :) please feel welcome to help setup, run the sale, etc.
